The Ridge

This residential development only 200m from the CBD provided a unique set of challenges. One of the constraints was the zoning, it was zoned for large residential sections of 3000m² to 4000m². Another constraint was the unavailability of a reticulated sewage scheme. These constraints could not be overcome in the short term and were not seen as a liability but rather an opportunity.

This is a development with a point of difference. The developers gauged the market and saw a gap for quality large sections, walking distance to the town centre. There are sixteen 4000m² (1 acre) lots just 200m from the CBD with many overlooking the Kerikeri Golf course. The lots are of a sufficient size to provide for large quality built homes with spacious surroundings. The sites contain onsite effluent disposal until connections to a reticulated sewage scheme are made available.
