The village, located in Kamo West in Fairway Drive is scheduled for an opening early in mid 2009. The village will feature resort-style retirement living, including a Village Centre with an internal atrium, indoor swimming pool and spa, gymnasium, beauty and hairdressing salons, bowling green, and even a movie theatre. The Jane Mander Retirement Village will feature a full range of retirement living and care options including independent townhouse living, assisted living in serviced apartments, resthome, hospital and dementia care.

The role of CTC Survey is to coordinate and undertake the engineering surveying. This entails setting out of all services, roading and buildings, and calculating earthworks volumes. The site offers a unique set of challenges as the construction of buildings, roading and services are carried out simultaneously. This differs from typical subdivisional development where the development work is carried out as part of the subdivision process. Cooperation from all Ryman Healthcare staff and contractors involved has been outstanding, as often work areas are shared or encroached upon.
